Variegated Shell Ginger

It is a beautiful and ornamental tropical plant appreciated for its attractive variegated foliage and occasional shell-like flowers. Alpinia zerumbet variegata is a perennial herbaceous plant that belongs to the ginger family (Zingiberaceae). It has long, lance-shaped leaves with creamy-yellow or white variegation on the edges. The foliage grows in a clumping habit, and the plant can reach a height of 6 to 10 feet (1.8 to 3 meters) under suitable conditions.
